LAKB has a small store for local customer to shop at. It's my home garage which has been converted into a retail shop and yes it has airconditioning. Store operating hours change from week to week so these will be posted on LAKB's facebook and Instagram pages. So please follow LAKB on these platforms so you can have up to date information. Pop-Up stalls - Townsville

I have seen an item at your Pop-Up stall that's not on your website, how can I order it?

At times there may be some items appearing at my pop-up stalls which are not on the website and vice versa. This is to ensure I allow enough stock levels for my pop up stall. If you have seen an item at my stall and it is not available on our website or an item is displaying out of stock on the website please contact me via the contact us page or jump on our Facebook page and send us a message lisasaffordablekidsboutique.

How can I pay for my online purchases?

Are your products pre-order items?

No, at Lisa’s Affordable Kids Boutique we believe in checking for quality and sizing before our products are placed on our website. All items listed on the website are in stock. This means order it now and receive it now, no long waits for your order. Orders are usually shipped within 48 hours from Townsville, QLD. You can rest assured your items have been checked for quality assurance and sizing before being shipped.

Can I exchange my items for a different size/style?

Please choose carefully as we only offer exchanges for a different size and not for change of mind. All shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. Items must be in the same condition it was received in (strict 14 day policy applies). Please note Sale items can not be exchanged, so please choose carefully. Please see our Returns Policy for more information regarding process of returns.

Sizing information

At Lisa's Affordable Kids Boutique we want to ensure your child's outfit fits perfectly so all our clothes are checked and where possible, matched against Australian clothing sizes from the big retailers.

It is for this reason you may notice slightly different sizing options on our website. If your child is between sizes, or you child is taller than the average, we recommend going the next size up as these sizes are based on the ‘average-size child’. Like all clothing stores, due to sourcing our products from different suppliers, there may be slight differences in sizes. However, we try to minimise this by completing our own quality checks. If you have a question about sizing of a product please contact me via the contact us page.

Garment care

We recommend 'cold-hand wash' to avoid any damage to our garments. However, in some cases some of our products may be washed on delicate cold machine cycle in a washing bag. If this is the case with your garment, we will inform you of this.

Garments with a print should be hand washed inside out and all our garments should be hung to dry in the shade – our garments should never be tumble dry.

All our garments have our clothing tags on them. Please cut the plastic tag off. Do not pull tag off. Please note if your garment is damaged due to being washed incorrectly or is damaged due to incorrectly removing clothing tag, we are unable to accept this back as a fault and/return.

What if my item is faulty?

All our products have been individually checked to ensure we provide our customers with the highest standard and quality. However if you do receive a product with a manufacturing fault, we will do our best to resolve the problem as fast as possible. To help us do that we will require a couple of photos showing the defect and/or fault. For further details on returning an item/s please contact me via the contact us page.

Please note, as previously mentioned we will not accept products which have been washed incorrectly, damaged by incorrect tag removal or used in an inappropriate manner (strict 14day policy applies) Please view our Returns Policy for more information.

How much for shipping?

We offer a flat-shipping fee of $9.95 Standard Shipping and $14.95 for Express Shipping within Australia. Orders over $139.00 receive FREE Standard Shipping within Australia. 

All shipping comes with a tracking number/or signature on delivery, which will be emailed to the customer in order to track their order. We also offer a free local pick up service for our Townsville customers. This option can be selected at the checkout and an email will be sent to the customer to arrange collection of items from Townsville. 

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, but at this stage only to New Zealand. Standard Shipping for small orders is  of $25.00, for larger orders its $35.00. Please note LAKB are not liable for any import duties or fees charged by your country. Import fees will not apply to orders so this may be an extra charge. It is the customer's responsibility to make sure they have not purchased anything in their order that may be prohibited to enter New Zealand. Once the order has been shipped, no refunds will be given if item/s have been denied entry. How long does it take for my order to be shipped?

Once payment has been received for your order, we will process and dispatch your order within 48 hours. Please note, the 48hr shipping timeframe may at times be delayed due to public holidays, school holidays etc. All orders are dispatched from Townsville, QLD.

How long until I receive my order? 

Orders are usually shipped within 48 hours once payment has been received.

Order arrivals will vary depending on a customer’s location and can take from 2 to 10 days withing Australia, it may take a little longer for international orders.

Parcels are shipped from Townsville, QLD and come with tracking number you can track on Australia Post website.

Please note, once your order has been shipped with Australia Post we are not legally responsible for delayed shipping times or loss of parcel. However we will endeavour to assist you where possible.

How do I track my order?

Once your order has been shipped, customers will receive an email with their parcels tracking number. Customers can then go onto Australian Post website (link to https://auspost.com.au/mypost/track/#/search) to track their parcel. Please check your junk/spam folder in case this email has gone into there. If you are having trouble tracking your order, please don’t hesitate to contact us via the contact us page.

What happens if my parcel doesn’t arrive or is lost in transit?

Once your parcel has left our premises (Townsville, QLD) they are then the property of Australia Post. We are not legally responsible for any lost or damaged goods. If a parcel has been lost/damage during transit with Australia Post, the customer is required to to complete the refund process through  Australia Post. LAKB will assist the customer with this process.

However, if your parcel is not delivered to you within our delivery timeframe, we will do our best to track down your parcel for you.

I have selected free local pick up, now what happens?

Lisa's Affordable Kids Boutique offer a free local pick up from Townsville. If you have selected this option an email will be sent to organise a pick up date and time. Any orders that are not collected within 30 days will be refunded back to the customer by original payment method, minus any discounts that were applied and a $6.00 admin processing fee by Lisa's Affordable Kids Boutique. Customers will receive a finally email warning to collect items before 30days.
